This was a captivating book. The world that Marissa Kennerson has created is so rich and developed, it felt as if I were reading a true account of someone's life. I immediately felt for Twig and her odd existence in this very disturbing "Family." It felt all too possible and was scary to think about the children who are raised in these communities.
